Our Process

How We Get to Measurable Results

Every engagement follows the same sequence. Each step produces something the dealership can see: a baseline, a decision, a rebuilt campaign, a tighter process, a number.

Step 01

Discovery and audit

We review current spend, vendor agreements, website performance and CRM activity to establish a baseline.

Step 02

Vendor and technology review

Providers, applications and platforms are evaluated as one ecosystem, then renegotiated, replaced or removed.

Step 03

Inventory-led strategy

Google, Meta and Vehicle Listing Ad campaigns are rebuilt around actual inventory and sales priorities.

Step 04

CRM and follow-up

Lead response, appointment and follow-up processes are tightened so the opportunities created actually convert.

Step 05

Sold-customer reporting

Matchback reporting ties spend to sold vehicles, and the plan is adjusted from what actually sells.

Our Diagnostic

What We Look At in Every Dealership

We don't just give marketing reports, we bridge the gap between advertising and actual sales.

Media and search

Google, Meta and Vehicle Listing Ads measured against sold vehicles rather than platform conversions.

Vendor stack

Third-party providers reviewed, renegotiated or removed based on their contribution to opportunities.

CRM and BDC

Lead response, appointment and follow-up processes that convert the opportunities marketing creates.

Sold-customer attribution

Matchback reporting that ties advertising spend to vehicles that actually left the lot.

Your Marketing Should Be Accountable to Sales.

We evaluate the full dealership marketing operation—from media and third-party vendors to CRM execution and sold-customer attribution—to identify where performance is being created and where budget is being wasted.

Permian Basin Ford dealership
Bailey Toliver Ford
Client Overview

Bailey Toliver Ford is a Ford dealership in Stanton, Texas, serving Stanton, Midland, Odessa and the broader Permian Basin. Its operation includes retail vehicles, Super Duty inventory, commercial trucks, fleet sales, parts and service. AM Dealer Solutions has worked with the dealership for more than two years.

The challenge

Bailey Toliver Ford had the inventory, market opportunity and leadership commitment required to grow. However, its marketing operation was distributed across multiple vendors, applications and technology platforms.

The dealership's website, CRM, digital applications, third-party services and advertising channels were not functioning as one connected system. This made it difficult to determine which expenses were creating opportunities and which were simply adding cost.

The objective was to increase sales while improving the dealership's control over its data, lead process and cost per vehicle sold.

What AM Dealer Solutions changed

01

Vendor and technology review

Reviewed the website, CRM, digital applications, third-party providers and advertising platforms as one ecosystem. Redundant and underperforming services were renegotiated, replaced or eliminated.

02

Approximately $8,000 in monthly waste eliminated

Evaluated vendor costs and advertising expenses against their measurable contribution to leads and vehicle sales.

03

Inventory-led media strategy

Aligned Google, Meta and Vehicle Listing Ad campaigns with actual inventory and sales priorities, including Ford Super Duty and commercial vehicles.

04

CRM and AI-supported follow-up

Connected CRM processes more closely with marketing. AI-supported follow-up improved opportunity coverage, lead prioritization and visibility without replacing dealership employees.

Results

Bailey Toliver Ford approximately doubled its sales pace year over year for two consecutive years. Current records show monthly sales moving from approximately 25–30 units to approximately 50–60 units during the documented growth period.

  • Approximately $8,000 per month in vendor and advertising waste eliminated
  • Approximately $200 cost per vehicle sold
  • 152.9% of the benchmark for total website traffic
  • 222% of the benchmark for VDP traffic

Why VDP traffic matters

The dealership was not only generating broader traffic. It was substantially outperforming its benchmark in visits to actual vehicle inventory pages.

2026 Performance Update

Still Getting More Efficient, Two Years In

Monthly ad platform reporting from January through July 2026 shows this partnership isn't just holding gains — it's still getting more efficient. Combined Google and Facebook ad spend fell from a February peak of $23,632/month to $11,563 in May, a 51% reduction, and sat 30% below January's level by July. Phone call leads — the highest-intent action a shopper can take — climbed 33% over the same span (219 in January to 292 in July), and Facebook ad engagement (CTR) improved 42%, from 2.02% to 2.86%. In short: less is being spent to generate more direct customer contact.

Before and after

Before
  • No in-house digital marketing expertise
  • Website not optimized for lead conversion
  • Overpaying third-party vendors for weak results
  • 25–30 units sold monthly
After
  • Full-service marketing and operations partnership
  • Modern, conversion-focused website and CRM
  • Leaner vendor stack, $8K/mo saved
  • 50–60 units sold monthly and growing

Bottom line

Bailey Toliver Ford's growth required changes across its vendor agreements, technology platforms, CRM processes and digital advertising. By treating these components as one operating system, AM Dealer Solutions helped the dealership increase sales, remove approximately $8,000 in monthly waste and maintain an efficient cost per vehicle sold.

Client Overview

Bailey Toliver RV is an RV dealership operating across Victoria, Stanton and Brownfield, Texas, and a partner since 2025. toliverrv.com

The challenge

Bailey Toliver RV came to us as a second engagement following the success of our Bailey Toliver Ford partnership, needing a full-service digital marketing operation built from the ground up — across Google, Facebook, and (starting in March 2026) TikTok — for a competitive West Texas RV market that includes national players like Camping World RV and Blue Compass RV.

RV Dealership Partner since 2025

Our approach

We brought the same embedded, full-stack management model that worked for Bailey Toliver Ford to the RV side of the business.

01

Three channels, multiple locations

Standing up and managing Google Ads, Facebook Ads and TikTok campaigns across multiple RV brands and locations (Victoria, Stanton, Brownfield).

02

Continuous budget reallocation

Continuously reallocating budget toward the highest-performing campaigns and keywords.

03

Offline attribution

Tracking offline attribution (store visits and MatchBacks) to tie ad spend directly to showroom traffic.

04

Monthly accountability

Monthly performance reporting to keep spend accountable to results.

Results

Since launch, Bailey Toliver RV has held store visits in a healthy, stable band of roughly 290-380 per month even as paid ad spend was trimmed for efficiency — a sign that the targeting and creative are doing more of the work than raw ad budget. The account expanded into TikTok in March 2026, adding a third acquisition channel alongside Google and Facebook.

Spending less, reaching the same lot

Google ad spend came down a third across the first seven months of 2026 while monthly store visits dipped only 8% — efficiency, not retreat.

2026 Performance Update

Sharper Targeting, Not Brute-Force Spend

Monthly ad platform reporting from January through July 2026 (June report not on file) shows a clear efficiency trend: Google Ads average cost-per-click fell from $1.00 in January to $0.53 in July — a 47% improvement — while Google ad spend dropped 33% over the same window. Despite spending less, in-store visits stayed remarkably stable, dipping only 8% from January's 327 to July's 302, with a peak of 376 in March. July also produced the strongest Facebook MatchBack performance of the year (38 attributed store visits, vs. 22 in January), and Google click-through rate improved 35% (1.46% to 1.97%), pointing to sharper targeting rather than brute-force spend.

Client Overview

RightDrive is an independent used-vehicle dealership group based in El Paso, Texas. AM Dealer Solutions began working with RightDrive in 2018, when the business was still establishing its market position. The relationship has continued for approximately eight years and expanded across marketing, attribution, CRM, BDC, inventory strategy and fixed operations.

The challenge

RightDrive could not rely on an OEM brand, manufacturer advertising or franchise incentives to create customer demand. To scale, it needed to establish its own brand, generate first-party opportunities, merchandise inventory effectively and build a sales operation capable of converting increasing lead volume.

The challenge was not to create a temporary sales spike. It was to build an acquisition and operating system that could support additional inventory, locations and markets.

RightDrive

What AM Dealer Solutions changed

01

Digital-first acquisition

Organized marketing around inventory, financing demand, Google search intent, Meta advertising, retargeting and first-party lead generation.

02

Reduced third-party dependence

Evaluated providers by sold-vehicle contribution and cost per sale, redirecting budget toward channels where RightDrive controlled the customer data and follow-up process.

03

Connected Meta to sold vehicles

Used sold-customer matchback reporting. During the documented reporting period, 56 vehicle sales matched to Meta advertising.

04

Developed BDC processes

Built lead-response, appointment, confirmation, follow-up and CRM-accountability processes for sales and service.

05

Helped launch fixed operations

Supported marketing, CRM and BDC systems for a new service department that reached more than 200 monthly repair orders within six months.

  • Sales and service BDC processes established
  • Expansion into additional locations and markets

Why the relationship worked

RightDrive was willing to make operational changes based on performance data. The dealership reduced third-party dependence, invested in first-party acquisition, improved CRM and BDC execution and expanded fixed-operations capacity. AM Dealer Solutions evolved with the dealership instead of continuing to sell the same marketing package as the business changed.

Bottom line

RightDrive's results were not produced by one campaign. They were created by years of alignment across advertising, inventory, CRM, BDC, attribution and dealership operations.

Client Overview

Got Trucks, operated by American Auto Brokers in San Antonio, specializes in used trucks and other pre-owned vehicles. The dealership was operating in a softer truck market while carrying a marketing mix that included multiple third-party providers and disconnected performance reports.

The challenge

Providers reported traffic, leads and platform conversions, but management lacked a clear view of which expenses were contributing to sold vehicles. The objective was to identify wasted spending, improve inventory visibility and increase sales without simply adding more budget.

What AM Dealer Solutions changed

01

Audited third-party contribution

Evaluated providers using CRM activity, lead quality, inventory engagement and sold-customer contribution. Approximately $5,000 in recurring monthly expense was eliminated.

02

Improved Vehicle Listing Ads

Reorganized VLA activity around feed coverage, truck category, geography, price, inventory age, VDP engagement and inventory priority.

03

Restructured digital campaigns

Aligned Google and Meta campaigns with available inventory and measurable sales objectives.

04

Shifted reporting toward sold outcomes

Focused reporting on qualified opportunities, VDP engagement, matched sales, cost per sale, inventory movement and vendor efficiency.

Results

After restructuring its vendor and advertising mix, Got Trucks increased sales approximately 25% month over month and eliminated approximately $5,000 in recurring monthly third-party waste. The result occurred during a softer truck market, demonstrating improved productivity from the remaining marketing operation.

Bottom line

Got Trucks did not need another provider or a larger media plan. It needed a clear view of which expenses were contributing to sales.
